Code of Conduct

As an organisation, we are committed to maintaining an environment free from discrimination, victimisation, harassment, and bullying. This Code of Conduct sets out the behaviour that we expect from both our members and volunteers in conjunction with our safeguarding policy. We aim to promote a positive environment where every member feels safe, happy, valued, and supported. The committee will commit to providing an effective complaints procedure; and we will commit to upholding our ethos and code throughout every production and review and update this code on a regular basis. All casting decisions will be made without discrimination. Bullying, harassment or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated under any circumstances and will result in further action. All of the information here is available on our website www.chacewaterplayers.co.uk

To enable us to create this environment, we kindly ask that all members and volunteers:

  • Be respectful of the Chacewater Village Hall premises and any Chacewater Players property.
  • Be polite, courteous, encouraging and respectful towards one another and to audience

members/ visitors.

  • Do not use any inappropriate language, particularly around the children and teens.
  • To their best effort, exhibit commitment towards Players. We want to create a rehearsal space that everyone enjoys being in whilst also remaining productive.
  • Pay any subsidies in a timely manner.

We encourage anyone with any queries to contact any member of the committee or email us at:
